Returns and Procedures
We offer to replace print artwork which is damaged while being shipped to your location. Depending on the circumstances (i.e., item being left out in the rain or used as bicycle ramp), we may decide not to replace the artwork without an additional purchase.
In the case of original artwork (also depending on the circumstances), we may offer to repair the piece in question. Just let us know what occurred and we will do our best to make it right.
Varnishing Artwork
The one drawback to oil paint is how long it takes to fully cure (about six months). Because of this, I am unable to varnish paintings until six months after I put the brush down. Sometimes paintings sell or have to be delivered to the buyer before the six months is up—in this case, I will offer to varnish the painting free of charge. The customer only has to pay for the shipping to get the painting back to my studio and I’ll take care of the rest. Varnishing is an important part of making sure your painting lasts long enough for your great grandchildren to continue to enjoy this painting.
